This privacy policy (“Policy”) describes how Eco Mobile (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects, protects and uses the information you (“User”, “you” or “your”) may provide in the Teleprompter mobile application and any of its related products and services (collectively, “Mobile Application” or “App”).
It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your information and how you can access and update this information. This Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to individuals that we do not employ or manage.
The App lets you write or paste scripts, read them as scrolling text, and record video and audio with your device’s camera and microphone.
Scripts, videos and audio recordings are created, processed and stored locally on your device. We do not upload them to our servers, and we cannot view, access or recover them.
Camera and microphone are used only while you are actively recording in the App, and are never used in the background without a visible notification.
Your content leaves your device only when you choose to share or export it (for example, to your gallery, a messaging app or a social network). Once shared, it is subject to the privacy policy of the app or service you share it with.
Because content is stored only on your device, deleting the App or clearing its data may permanently delete your scripts and recordings. Please keep your own backups.
To provide you with the full functionality of the App, we may request the following system permissions. You can grant or revoke them at any time in your device settings; if you deny a permission, only the related feature will stop working.
android.permission.CAMERA: Required to show the camera preview and record video while you read your script.
android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO: Required to record your voice together with the video, or to record audio-only takes.
android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW (Display over other apps): Required only for the floating teleprompter, which shows your script on top of other apps such as your camera app, social media or video-call apps. The App does not read or record the content of the other apps.
android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_CAMERA, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MICROPHONE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE: Required to keep a recording or the floating teleprompter running reliably while it is in use, with an ongoing notification so you always know it is active.
android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+ / SDK 33): Required to display the ongoing notification for an active recording or floating teleprompter, and controls to stop it.
android.permission.READ_MEDIA_VIDEO (Android 13+ / SDK 33): Required to show and play back videos you have recorded with the App.
android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 12 and below): Required to show your recorded videos and to import script files you select from your device storage.
android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 9 and below): Required to save recorded videos to your device storage.
android.permission.INTERNET: Required for core app functionality, loading online content, analytics and ads.
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to check network connectivity and ensure seamless performance.
com.android.vending.BILLING: Required to process in-app digital purchases and subscriptions.
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID: Used by advertising networks to display relevant ads suited to your preferences.
Note: Scripts, videos and audio created or processed within the App remain stored locally on your device unless explicitly shared by you.
We receive and store any information you knowingly provide to us when you fill out forms, contact our support team or interact with features in the Mobile Application. You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of some of the App’s features.
We do not collect the content of your scripts, your video or audio recordings, or images of your face or voice.
When you open the Mobile Application, our servers or integrated third-party services automatically record information sent by your device. This data may include information such as:
Device IP address and general geographic location
Device model, brand and operating system version
System language preferences and performance statistics
Access times, dates and interaction logs within the App (for example, which features are used and whether a recording was saved successfully — never the content of your scripts or recordings)
Crash and error reports
Any of the information we collect from you may be used to:
Operate and improve the Mobile Application and user experience
Diagnose crashes and recording or playback issues on different devices
Process in-app transactions and verify purchase status
Respond to your support requests
Identify potential cases of abuse and maintain statistical data regarding traffic and usage
Deliver personalized or non-personalized advertisements through verified third-party ad networks
We process Personal Information based on your consent, to perform our agreement with you, to comply with legal obligations, or to satisfy our legitimate business interests in operating our services.
We do not sell your personal information. We share non-personally identifiable or technical data with carefully selected third-party service providers to help us operate, analyze and monetize the App. These partners are bound by confidentiality agreements and technical safeguards:

All financial transactions are processed securely through Google Play’s payment system. We do not store, view or process your payment card information or credit credentials on our servers.

None of these providers receive your scripts, video or audio recordings.
Where required by law (for example, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time from the App’s settings. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads, depending on your device).
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have specific rights regarding your data, including:
The right to withdraw consent given previously for data processing.
The right to object to the processing of your information.
The right to request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data stored by us.
The right to opt out of direct marketing or personalized advertisements.
The right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information provided below. Requests are handled free of charge and processed within 30 days.
We retain collected information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy or as required by law.
Your scripts and recordings are stored only on your device. You can delete them at any time within the App, or by uninstalling the App.
If you would like to request the deletion of your personal data, logs or any other information collected during your use of Teleprompter, please contact us at teleprompter@ecomobile.vn with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. We will process and fulfill your request within 30 days.
We do not knowingly collect any Personally Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not submit any personal data through our App. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s internet usage and help enforce this Policy. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect the data we hold from unauthorized access, use, modification or disclosure on controlled servers. However, please acknowledge that no wireless or internet data transmission can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Content stored on your device is protected by your device’s own security settings, such as your screen lock.
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. When updated, we will revise the date at the top of this document and, for material changes, notify you within the App. Continued use of the App following any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Policy.
